New Division Established for Monitoring Technology Assessment
August 22, 2007
Today, HanoverSoft established a new division for monitoring technology assessment, planning, and deployment. This new division provides three distinct services: (1) assess current monitoring technology to determine current status and make recommendations, (2) provide a vision to unify all enterprise monitoring technology, and (3) provide experts to execute the changes necessary to achieve the desired vision. These services assist the Enterprise Architecture group found in many enterprises in coordination with the CIO.

Call for Inventor Entrepreneurs

HanoverSoft announced today that it is calling for inventor entrepreneurs to present ideas. These ideas will be reviewed for consideration for product launching. The most promising ideas will be researched in the market. The most marketable ideas will be prototyped and market tested. Successfully market tested ideas will be funded for marketing to sell to the enterprise or consumer markets.

ZoneRanger v4.0 Released

Clubs.TealRay.com Launched

Today, TealRay Media launched Clubs.TealRay.com, a community portal for the club community by the club community. Clubs.TealRay.com offers a free listing service to groups within the club community. Initially, this site is populated with many model railroading societies around the world. The site hopes to support scouting and 4-H clubs at a later time.

Arts.TealRay.com Launched

Today, TealRay Media launched Arts.TealRay.com, a community portal for the arts community by the arts community. Arts.TealRay.com offers a free listing service to groups within the arts community. Initially, this site is populated with arts companies from North Carolina, USA (since this is home to TealRay Media), however the site immediately handles arts companies in any of the Unites States. Support for international listings will be available later.

HanoverSoft Creates TealRay Media Division

Today, HanoverSoft created its newest division, TealRay Media. The new division's mission is to creatively provide services and products through the Internet. For services, a community portal is planed to provide company and event listings for the arts community. For products, the artistic staff has selected images and phrases for t-shirts. Other customer goods are planned for later.

ZoneRanger v1.0 Released

Tavve has released version 1.0 of ZoneRanger, the network management appliance for DMZ management. This version is a major update from the ePROBE product, targeted squarely at DMZ management based on feedback from Fortune 1000 companies. Whereas the ePROBE addressed the general mid-level management market, the ZoneRanger squarely combines security with network management for the DMZ. The ZoneRanger provides TCP and ICMP status polling, SNMP trap filtering & forwarding SNMP proxy, and syslog forwarding.

eNMS v2.0, ePROBE v2.0 Released

Today, Tavve Software Co. announced general availability of eNMS v2.0 product suite and ePROBE v2.0. This release provides a significantly enhanced and stabilized version of the popular eNMS v1.4 product suite and ePROBE v1.4. eNMS is comprised of EventWatch, PReView, and QuickView. EventWatch is the industry leading root cause analysis software for locating network faults. PReView provides a web view of managed network devices with many useful reports. QuickView provides a handy Motif interface for the most common network management tasks performed by operators.

These products are available on Windows NT, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX for the IBM NetView/6000 and HP OpenView platforms.

ePROBE v1.0 Released

Today, Tavve Software Co. announced availability of ePROBE v1.0. This network appliance provides mid-level management functionality to IBM NetView/6000 and HP OpenView products to provide remote network management. ePROBE performs ICMP and TCP status polling, SNMP trap filtering/logging/forwarding, SNMP data collection, and syslog logging.

Tavve Software Co. Incorporates as Network Management Company

Due to recent market momentum with network management products, Tavve Software Co.'s network management division has split away from the remaining divisions and incorporated as its own Delaware C corporation. The remaining divisions have reorganized as HanoverSoft. Congratulations to the management team: Nick Francis has been named CEO, Anthony Edwards is the CTO, Gary Schlachter is VP of Engineering, and Tim Clark is the VP of Sales. Henceforth, Tavve Software Co. shall retain the network management intellectual property, including eNMS/EventWatch, eNMS/PReView, eNMS/QuickView, nitsControl, nitsMenu, nitsList, and nitsFilter; meanwhile, HanoverSoft will retrain the remaining intellectual property, including BXC-51, BXC-51 Simulator, BXC-51 Library Toolkit, BXC-51 IDE, QComm, BEC-51, Limo, Super Pedigree, and Infinitor.

nitsControl, nitsMenu, and nitsList Released

Tavve Software Co. announced the availability of three new integration tools which make NetView/6000 integration easier. The nitsControl utility provides SNMP scripting capability. The nitsMenu utility provides a simple Motif pop-up menu utility. The nitsList utility provides a simple Motif pop-up list selection utility. These three utilities used in conjunction are essential in any NetView/6000 system integrator's toolbox.

BXC-51 Simulator v1.0 Released

Today, Tavve Softwaer Co. announces BXC-51 Simulator. This product takes a BXC-51 compiled program and simulates it on your PC. Using assembly source listings, debugging is a snap, whether you want to debug in 8051 assembly or BASIC. For I/O applications, the BXC-51 Simulator can communicate with your system board (via M/DP integration) to produce actual I/O operations.

BXC-51 v5.0 Released

Today, Binary Technology released BXC-51 v5.0. This version supports derivative chips 8xC550, 8xC552. Users can now define their own functions, e.g. DEF FN F(X)=X**2+4. Users can define commands with assembly linkage (-bxxx, .BXL files). Users can define functions with assembly linkage. Multiple line IF-THEN-ELSE statement are now supported. We added integration so -sim invokes simulator after compile. The DEFASM command now supports label name, not just hex address. Added binary number types - ending with B.

Tavve Software Co. Joins NetView/6000 Association

Today, Tavve Software Co. officially joined the IBM NetView/6000 Association after passing the certification process. As a member of the NetView/6000 Association, Tavve Software Co. will be producing software utilities compatible with the NetView/6000 product from IBM. Additionally, Tavve Software Co. will provide network management professional services on-site on a consulting basis.

BXC-51 IDE v1.0 Released
March 31, 1994
Today, Tavve Software Co. announced an integrated development environment for BXC-51 programmers - BXC-51 IDE. The programmer edits their source code with the included editor, Infinitor. With a single keystroke, the programmer compiles their code with any errors highlighted. With another keystroke, the compiled code is downloaded to the microcontroller board with the included serial port utility - QComm. With another keystroke, the application runs live or in a simulator.

BXC-51 Libarary Toolkit v1.1 Released

BEC-51 v4.0 Released

Today, Blue Earth Research released BEC-51 v4.0. With this release, the BASIC-52 programs developed for Blue Earth Research microcontroller devices may now be compiled into machine code.

Blue Earth Research and Tavve Software Co. Agree to Collaborate to Produce BASIC Compiler

Today, Blue Earth Research and Tavve Software Co. have agreed to produce a BASIC-52 compiler compatable with the Blue Earth Research 8051 microcontroller product line. This compiler will take existing Intel BASIC-52 program source code and compile it into machine code. Tavve Software Co. will develop the software based on its existing popular BXC-51 product and Blue Earth Research will market and sell the software.

Limo v1.0 Released

Tavve Software Co. announces the availability of Limo v1.0. The Limo application handles dispatching via caller-id, reservations with history recall, and monthly billing reports. The strength of this application is the integration with telephone caller-id. When a customer calls from a phone number, all the history of past dispatches from that phone number are readily available. This makes for quicker, accurate dispatching.

Tavve Software Co. developed the software; Clifton Taxi will market and sell the software.

BXC-51 v4.0 Released for Japanese Market

Today, the popular BXC-51 product was released for support of the Japanese PC market. Not only was BXC-51 updated to support Japanese hardware, but error and informational messages may be modified by resellers to support non-English languages.

Today, Tavve released BXC-51 Library Toolkit v1.0. This product complements your BXC-51 product, versions 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. BXC-51 LT allows you to generate a stand-alone library (source code or hex file) and then strip the library from your BXC-51 program. BXC-51 LT allows you to reduce downloading/programming time, see the BXC-51 library source code, create a stand-alone library, and includes thorough documentation of BXC-51 library!

BXC-51 v3.0 Released

Today, Binary Technology released BXC-51 v3.0. In this version, BXC-51 adds the commands TRACE0, TRACE1, DEFASM, DEFVAR, and DEFCTRL. The command line flags flags -a and -c were added. Added memory map file. We now have drastically improved error reporting. Integer expression optimization for speed improvements. Also, we reduce library code size so the resulting binary is smaller.

BXC-51 v2.0 Released

Today, Binary Technology released BXC-51 v2.0. In this version, integer and byte variables have been added. Integer and byte variables substantially improve performance over BASIC-52 floating point variables.

Infinitor 1.0 Released

Today, Tavve Software Co. has released the programmer's editor, Infinitor 1.0. This is the editor that is as good as you are. Programmers can create programs inside of Infinitor using the powerful built-in language TPL (Text Processing Language) and binding those programs to keystrokes to enhance the editor to meet even the most demanding programmer's needs. The editor itself supports up to 10 files simultaneously in 10 windows. Editor keystrokes can be customized to programmer preference; for example, vi, wordstar, and emacs emulation choices are available out of the box.

BXC-51 v1.0 Released

Today, Binary Technology released BXC-51 v1.0. Now, Intel BASIC-52 programmers can take their BASIC programs and compile them. This provides a performance improvement over regular interpreted BASIC-52 as well as encrypting source code so others cannot copy it. Now, instead of always shipping the more expensive Intel 8052 microcrontroller, your project can ship the 8051 microcontrolller, saving you money.

This compiler will take existing Intel BASIC-52 program source code and compile it into machine code for the Intel 8051, 8052, and DS/5000. Tavve Software Co. will develop the software and Binary Technology will manufacture, market, and sell the software.

Today, Agranat Systems and Tavve Software Co. have agreed to produce the programmer's text editor Infinitor. The Infinitor product is presently under development at Tavve Software Co. and expected to be released in 1Q88. Agranat Systems will manufacture, market, and sell the software.
